on wednesday the fish where on dry fly all day with a nice westly wind,i caught about 10 trout myself on a size 18 fulling mill grey paradun fished static,with some anglers doing well with dawl bachs sub surface,the evening session was a little harder for some anglers as it went flat calm and lot's of midges putting anglers off with 1 or 2 anglers going onto a slow sink and yellow dancer getting couple of fish,into thursday 1st july i was wet and windy start to the day with most anglers using midge tip lines and lures with the black rabbit with green bead catching most bag limits,with gorden c

the fishing this week has been excellent with many bag limit's,best tactic have been suspender buzzers/cdc on the top or chunchers and dawl bachs and buzzers fished sub surface,the water has been boiling with fish at time's this week,the fish are getting caught all over the loch,best catch this week was today(sunday) with 12yrs calum stephens catching 17 trout on chunchers/dry fly he caught 2 over 5lb,i have also stocked more 7lb - 10lb trout this week.

the fish where rising all day friday with suspender buzzers,shipman buzzers/cdc fished on the top of the water catching fish with black buzzers/chunchers fished sub surface fished very slow also catching well,anglers fishing the damsel on a floating line pulled fast catching some nice fish and again the okey dokey under a bung is deadly,we could do with a little rain to freshen thing up.

what a great days fishing today with some very nice fish caught with lot's of limit's taken,the fish where getting caught on dry fly,buzzers,damsel, with fish rising all day long,gary sherriff caught his 3 fish in about 10 minutes and lost many more fish,gary's fishing partner don also caught his 3 fish very fast on a damsel with liam thomson catching 2 on buzzers,a young lady angler amanda caught 4 fish on a white nomad lure on a floating line,selmmuir club chairman sandy just could not keep his fish on tonight losing fish on suspender buzzers and lures,overall great days fishing with feeding

the fish have been getting caught mostly on buzzers or black lures about 5ft-6ft down during the day or if we get a little cloud cover they are rising everywhere david bullon had a good early evening session catching 4 fish in 2 hours 1 being 5lb all on buzzers/hairs ears,the fish where taking buzzers sub-surface tonight wih a fast figure of eight retrieve some great sport,the weather is looking better wednesday with some cloud cover and hopefully a little rain.
