THE FISHING HAS NOT BEEN THE SAME ALL WEEK AT SELMMUIR,WITH SOME DAYS FISH RISING ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT THEN THE NEXT DAY NOTHING HAS BEEN RISING,THE HEAVY RAIN WE GOT WEDNESDAY HAS GOT OUR WATER LEVELS BACK UP AND COOLED THE LOCH DOWN,WE HAVE BEEN STOCKING SOME VERY NICE 6LB-10LB IN NUMBERS THESE LAST COUPLE OF WEEK AND SO FAR NONE ARE GETTING CAUGHT SO I JUST HOPE THEY START TO COME ON THE FEED,BEST TACTIC HAVE BEEN SUSPENDER BUZZERS IN BLACK OR HAIRS EAR OR SIZE 14-18 SMALL DRYS FISH STATIC,THE HOTHEAD DAMSEL HAS ALSO TAKEN LOTS OF FISH THIS WEEK WITH BLACK BUZZERS WITH ORANGE CHEEKS FIS

most fish caught friday where on black buzzers fished about 2ft-4ft down or the okey dokey under a bung with gorden craig catching on the dry flie in a very wet morning there was not one blank rod friday then into today the fishing was a little harder for some anglers with the fish not really wanting to play,i put some nice 7lb-9lb trout in selmmuir saturday morning hoping they would come onto the feed but the bigger fish seem to be sitting a little deeper,lets hope sunday starts with a bang and some nice fish are caught.

I GOT UP TO SELMMUIR ABOUT 6.15PM MONDAY NIGHT 12/7/10 AND THERE WAS FISH RISING EVERYWHERE YOU LOOKED,THERE WAS SO MANY FISH RISING YOU COULD HAVE WALK OVER THEM,I HAVE NOT SEE A RISE LIKE THAT AT SELMMUIR IN THE YEAR I HAVE BEEN THERE,MY DAD SAID THERE HAD BEEN FISH RISING ALL DAY AND IT WAS NOT A BUSY DAY WITH ANGLERS, THE EVENING ANGLERS WHERE CATCHING FISH FOR FUN ON SUSPENDER BUZZERS FISHED STATIC AS THEY WHERE GETTING OFFERS NEARLY EVERY CAST WITH DRY FLIES BUT THE FISH WOULD NOT HOLD THE HOOK,THERE WILL BE SOME BIG FISH STOCKED THIS COMING WEEK.

THE FISHING HAS BEEN GREAT SINCE WE HAD A LITTLE RAIN AND TEMPS HAVE DROPPED A LITTLE,BEST CATCH MONDAY WAS PAUL BEGBIE CATCHING 11 TROUT BY 1PM WITH MOST OTHER ANGLERS CATCHING 2-3 TROUT,THE WEATHER IS LOOKING GREAT TODAY WITH THE FISH JUST FEEDING SUB SURFACE,BEST TACTICS HAVE BEEN CHUNCHERS OR BUZZERS FISHED ABOUT 1FT DOWN OR WHITE LURES FISHED ON A MIDGE TIP LINE DOING REALLY WELL.
