the fishing today has been very hard going so far for most anglers,the sun is very high in the sky putting the fish down but even anglers fishing a little deeper are still not catching many fish lets hope the evenings get the fish on the feed when the sun go's down a little,i will update later tonight.

well the evening fishing was alot better with the dry flie taking fish,the best being a grey paradun fished static,you where getting a offer nearly every cast great sport with fish moving all over the water.

the bigger fish are starting to get caught this week,with a 8'4 rainbow caught sunday by stevie,a rainbow over 10lb caught by calum wednesday night,a 7'7 rainbow caught by andy today there was also a big fish lost by another angler,i have been stocking many bigger fish which have not been seen for weeks,it is amazing how they just come onto the feed plus the fishing has been really good this last week,the fishing during the day has been alot better with buzzers and dry flie taking some nice fish,the bigger fish have been getting caught about 3ft-5ft down,but if your after sport selmmuir h

THE FISHING TODAY SO FAR HAS BEEN SUPERB WITH RODS BENDING ALL OVER,A LOCAL ANGLER CAUGHT A NICE 8'4 RAINBOW FIRST THING,YOUNG CALUM HAS CAUGHT 10 TROUT WITHIN 2 HOUR WITH HIS MUM CATCHING 2 AND THEY HAVE ONLY BEEN FISHING FOR 2 HOURS,THE FISH WHERE RISING ALL OVER SELMMUIR SATURDAY TAKING SMALL BLACK ANTS,I WAS SPEAKING TO ALAN DARLING THIS MORNING WHO WAS FISHING SATURDAY AND HE SAID HE HAS NOT SEEN SO MANY FISH RISING AND WOULD NOT TAKE ANYTHING,THAT HAS CHANGED TODAY BIG TIME. 

some nice blue trout getting caught these last couple of days,the dry flies anglers are taking some nice fish with 10yrs charlie johnston catching 9 trout on thursday on a fulling mill paradun,the damsel also taking fish about 2ft-4ft down,the fish have switched onto the buzzers again fished almost static.

the fishing was hard going last week for most anglers,some days they are rising all day and only taking very small dries or static buzzers with the hothead damsel fished a little deeper taking the most fish for anglers,i have stocked over 50 fish between 4lb-10lb the last couple of weeks and they are just not getting caught,hopefully they will start to come onto the feed this coming week with more bigger fish getting stocked this week,there is no hotspots on selmmuir as the fish are all over the water in big numbers.
