THE BEST TACTICS FROM FRIDAY HAS BEEN MIDGE TIP LINE OR SLOW SINK WITH THE HOTHEAD DAMSEL TAKING FISH,WITH DAWL BACHS OR CHUNCHERS ON A FLOATING LINE,THE BLACK HOPPER STILL CATCHING FISH,YOUNG CALUM FISHED FRIDAY AND CAUGHT 8 AND WAS ALSO FISHING SATURDAY AND CAUGHT 5 AND HIS MUM ARLENE CAUGHT 3,MOST FISH WHERE CAUGHT EARLY DOORS SATURDAY WITH THE FISH GOING OFF THE FEED IN THE AFTERNOON A LITTLE,SUNDAY MORNING STARTED WITH A BANG WITH EVERYBODY CATCHING FISH RIGHT FROM THE OFF,GARY PELK HAD A GOOD DAY FISHING OKEY DOKEY UNDER A BUNG CATCH FISH EVERY WHERE HE WENT,SELMMUIR REGULAR ALAN DARLING

the start of last week the fishing was first class with anglers taking fish after fish on the surface on dries,then about friday the sun really put the fish diving for cover again,the weekend fishing was a little mixed for anglers with again some where into fish from the go,the avarage weight getting stocked this week is 3lb and they are lovely looking trout,there is still lot's of blue trout getting caught with a avarage weight of 2lb they are really giving a good account for themselfs,again the fish are spread all over the loch with the cabin end holding lot's of fish,again i stocked 5 rainb

the fish have really switched onto the feed,i was at selmmuir wednesday and there was fish rising all over the water all day long till about 4.30pm,the black hopper was catching fish for fun,there was 3 visiting anglers from fife and they had joy using midge tip lines and yellow blobs,the cooler weather has really brought the fish on,there is not one area on selmmuir loch that there was not fish rising,the fish are feeding on small black flies on the top it is great to see the fish feeding hard again.
